Photography / Abstract & Surreal / Surreal

All images were created with the inspiration of the band Depeche Mode, either by using film stills from their videos or simply listening to their music and being inspired by the lyrics.
These photos were created by using film stills of their music videos and double exposing those images with images of my own. I wanted the images to look like old or bizarre found photographs and some-what similar to their strange videos, which provide virtually no narrative, so it is then left up to the viewer to create one.

all images were created traditionally with a Holga camera and printed in a darkroom, not in Photoshop!

I love the way you treated the images, it's such an interesting experiment, I like the band as well but maybe not as much as you do ehehe. I'm not really a photographer I'm more of a painter but I found all these images absolutely inspiring.
